About SCP-096 MODEST
SCP-096 Modest is a first-person action horror game. Set in a dark underground complex, the game pits you against SCP-096, a humanoid creature known for its extreme emotional instability. SCP-096 is a humanoid entity approximately 2.38 meters tall, with a skinny body, pigmentless skin, and no hair. SCP-096’s most terrifying feature is its reaction to anyone seeing its face. When its face is seen, SCP-096 will fall into a state of violent agitation, screaming, crying, and relentlessly chasing the person who saw it until they are completely destroyed.
In SCP-096 Modest, you play as a survivor trapped in a dangerous area where SCP-096 has escaped. The main objective is to survive, avoid being detected by SCP-096, and find a way to escape the area.

Gameplay
Avoid looking at SCP-096
- SCP-096 often appears randomly in areas of the map. When you hear crying or screaming, immediately lower your head to look at the ground or turn away to avoid looking at its face.
- If you accidentally see SCP-096’s face, it will start covering its face, crying, and after a few seconds will chase you at an extremely fast speed. In this case, run to a place with a hiding place (closet, hidden corner) or try to escape the area immediately.
Collect items
- The items to find can be keys, documents, or photos of SCP-096 (in some levels, you need to destroy the photos to stop SCP-096).
Escape the area
- Each level has one or more doors that need to be opened with a key or special item.
- Once you have collected enough items, move to the exit (usually clearly marked) and interact to complete the level.
- The difficulty increases as the levels progress, with more complex maps and more frequent SCP-096 appearances.
