About Five Nights at Winston’s
Five Nights at Winston’s is a fan-made survival horror game created by lax1dude, heavily inspired by the popular Five Nights at Freddy’s series. It was developed nearly four years ago during the creator’s final year of middle school, amid significant stress and frustration, which contributed to its quirky and unconventional design. The game features bizarre animatronic-like characters crafted from erasers with paperclip limbs and hand-drawn faces, stemming from an inside joke among the creator and their friends.
In the game, you play as the night janitor at Flumptier Middle School (a fictionalized version of the creator’s old school), tasked with surviving five nights (plus bonus nights) from 12 AM to 6 AM while being hunted by these creepy eraser creatures. The setting is a dimly lit, cluttered janitor’s office with doors on both sides, and the atmosphere is tense with static-filled security cameras and eerie sounds.

How to play
The core gameplay is point-and-click survival, where you monitor security cameras to track the eraser animatronics’ movements and close doors to block them from entering your office. You have limited power, so efficient resource management is key—overusing cameras or lights drains it quickly, leading to a blackout and potential game over. Each night lasts about 5-7 minutes in real time and introduces more active characters with higher aggression

Controls
- Mouse Click: Interact with everything—open/close the camera monitor, switch between camera feeds, toggle doors and lights.
- Hover: Check door buttons (left for left door/light, right for right door/light).
