About 78 Hour Rain
78 Hour Rain is a free indie survival-horror game developed by Signol_Games (Colin Page). It features retro-style pixel art graphics with a moody atmosphere enhanced by constant rain sounds outside. The game draws inspiration from survival horror classics but emphasizes resource management, procedural generation, and strategic defense in a roguelike structure—each playthrough generates a new house layout, item placements, and enemy behaviors.

Gameplay
- Objective: Last 78 hours (three in-game days) without dying. Time passes in real-time, with nights being deadlier as intruders become more aggressive.
- Defending Against Intruders: Three faceless enemies roam the house. They hide in dark areas, sense you in shadows, and break through doors. Use bear traps in chokepoints to trap them temporarily, barricades (boards on doors) to block paths, and timers for distractions or delays…
- Resource Management: Scavenge for items (flashlight batteries, boards, traps) scattered randomly.
