About Connect 4
Connect 4 is an interesting variation of the traditional Caro game, designed as an upright board game. The game uses a vertical board with a square grid (usually 7 columns x 6 rows) and round red and yellow checkers. Players take turns dropping their checkers into the columns, and the checker will fall to the lowest available position in that column. The goal is to line up 4 checkers of the same color in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally before your opponent does.
How to play Connect 4
Two players take turns making moves. When it is your turn, you choose a column on the board to drop your piece into.
The piece will fall to the lowest empty space in that column. You cannot place a piece in a column that is already full. The turn passes to your opponent after you have dropped your piece.
Winning
- The first player to create a row of four pieces of the same color in a row in one of the following directions: horizontal, vertical, or diagonal.
- If the entire board is filled with pieces and no player creates a row of four pieces, the game ends in a draw.
