About Forgotten Hill: Little Cabin in the Woods
Forgotten Hill: Little Cabin in the Woods is a short, atmospheric point-and-click horror adventure game developed by FM Studio and released in 2018. It’s the first entry in the Forgotten Hill Tales series, set in the eerie, twisted universe of Forgotten Hill, known for its dark folklore-inspired stories, grotesque puzzles, and unsettling animations.
You play as a young boy confined to a remote cabin in the woods by your grandfather, who claims a monstrous entity lurks outside, making escape impossible. Haunted by a painful family history, you’ve been isolated for years, but curiosity and desperation drive you to defy the rules. As you explore the cabin, you’ll uncover dark secrets about your past, your grandfather’s motives, and the “monster” that’s closer than you think.
How to play
This is a classic point-and-click escape game: your goal is to explore the cabin room by room, collect items, solve inventory-based puzzles, and uncover clues to break free.
- Use your mouse cursor to interact. Click on hotspots to inspect objects, pick up items, or trigger events.
- Items you collect appear at the bottom of the screen. Click an item, then click where you want to use it
- Click arrows or doors to move between rooms (hallway, kitchen, bedroom, etc.). Some areas require zooming in for close-ups.
