About Subway Surfers Rio Carnival
Subway Surfers Rio Carnival is a themed edition of the popular endless runner game Subway Surfers, set in the vibrant streets of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, during the festive Carnival season. In this update, players join the surfing crew to dash through colorful carnival decorations, tropical landmarks like Copacabana Beach and Christ the Redeemer, and samba-inspired environments while evading the grumpy inspector and his dog.
The edition celebrates Brazilian culture with lively music, such as the “Vamos Dançar” soundtrack, and introduces new characters like Rebeca Roar, Gabriel, and Dinorange, along with boards such as Roarsome, Arara Board, and Moongazer, plus a Carnaval outfit for Fantasma. It’s part of the game’s World Tour series, with the 2025 version marking the 196th update and emphasizing Carnival festivities through special challenges, tokens like carnival masks, and events running from mid-February to early March.
