Idle Startup Tycoon is an engaging idle simulation game that immerses players in the world of Silicon Valley entrepreneurship. In this game, you take on the role of a startup founder, managing a team consisting of programmers, engineers, and salespeople to build and expand a tech empire. The core concept revolves around resource management, automation, and strategic growth, where your startup begins small but can scale into a massive business through upgrades, expansions, and resets. Unlike active games, much of the progress happens passively, even when you’re offline.
How to play
The game uses a simple click-based interface. You start with three basic workers: a programmer, an engineer, and a salesperson, all on the ground floor (Sales Office). Click on each worker to make them perform their tasks: programmers develop ideas, engineers build products, and salespeople sell them to generate cash. As you earn money, use it to upgrade workers for better efficiency or hire managers to automate their actions, eliminating the need for constant clicking.
- Earning and Upgrading: Generate cash by completing the workflow, ideas from programmers turn into products via engineers, which salespeople monetize. Use earnings to level up workers (increasing their speed and output) or unlock new floors. Each new floor introduces a different startup sector (e.g., Food Delivery App on Floor 1, Mobile Games on higher floors), adding more workers and complexity.
- Hiring Managers: Once you have enough cash (typically after reaching certain milestones like level 5 on a floor), hire managers for each worker type. Managers come in tiers (Junior, Senior, Executive) and automate tasks, allowing passive progress. This is essential as you manage multiple floors (up to 11 in total).
- Resetting (Prestige System): When progress slows, reset your game to start over with bonuses like extra starting cash and profit multipliers. This accelerates growth exponentially with each reset.
- Offline Progression: The game continues earning money while you’re away. Maximize this by spending all cash on upgrades before logging off.
