Papa’s Scooperia is the fourteenth installment in Flipline Studios’ popular Papa Louie restaurant time-management game series. It’s a casual cooking simulation where players run an ice cream shop in the bustling city of Oniontown, combining fan-favorite elements like baking cookies and crafting sundaes. During a trip to the city, the player character loses their money and belongings to a thief disguised as a hotel host. Stranded, Papa Louie offers them a job managing his new Scooperia to earn enough to get home or perhaps stay and build the ultimate ice cream empire.
How to play Papa’s Scooperia
Papa’s Scooperia is structured around serving customers efficiently across four main stations: Order Station, Dough Station, Bake Station, and Build Station. A tutorial round guides you through the basics, and controls are simple: mouse or touchscreen for desktop/mobile, with drag-and-drop for scooping and placing items.
- Order Station: Take the customer’s order by clicking through their preferences (cookie type, ice cream flavors, toppings, syrups, etc.).
- Dough Station: Scoop cookie dough balls (two per sundae) using a precise scooper tool. Dip them in flavor mixes as requested, then place on trays
- Bake Station: Insert trays into ovens and monitor baking time with a timer. Flip cookies midway if needed, and remove when golden (watch for color indicators).
- Build Station: Stack baked cookies on a plate, add scoops of ice cream (timing the release for even, rounded spheres), drizzle syrups, and sprinkle toppings. Finish with a cherry or wafer for flair.
