About Duck Life 3

Duck Life 3: Evolution is the third game in the popular Duck Life series, released on May 16, 2011. It builds on the previous titles by introducing genetically modified ducks that players can choose from, each with unique strengths and weaknesses in various skills. The game combines elements of pet simulation, role-playing, and racing, where you train your duck to compete in leagues and ultimately become the world champion.

The storyline revolves around a farmer who invents new duck breeds optimized for racing skills. You start by selecting an egg, hatch your duck, and train it through progressively harder leagues: Amateur in Grassland, Advanced in London, and Professional on Easter Island. After conquering the Professional League, you enter a portal to face the Champion Duck in a final race, unlocking the Supreme Duck form and additional rewards like the Throne Room and an arcade.

How to play

Choosing Your Duck

At the start, pick one of four eggs, each hatching into a duck with different skill grades (A+, A, B, C) that boost or reduce performance:

  • Strength Duck: Strong in climbing (A), balanced in running and swimming (B), weak in flying (C).
  • Athletic Duck: Excellent in running and swimming (A), weak in climbing and flying (C).
  • Flying Duck: Superior in flying (A+), balanced in swimming (B), weak in running and climbing (C).
  • Swimming Duck: Top-tier in swimming (A+), balanced in flying (B), weak in running and climbing (C).

Grades affect stats: C reduces by 10%, B is neutral, A boosts by 20%, A+ by 50%. After beating the game, your duck becomes the Supreme Duck with all A+ grades.

Training Your Duck

Training improves four skills: running, swimming, flying, and climbing through minigames in league-specific areas. Collect coins during training to buy seeds that enhance skills. Max levels increase per league: 50 (Amateur), 100 (Advanced), 150 (Professional). Sessions end if you hit obstacles, go off-screen, or fail mechanics.

  • Running: Jump over obstacles like rolling objects or holes using spacebar/up arrow. In Professional, navigate stationary platforms.
  • Swimming: Jump over or dive under obstacles (down arrow to dive). Advanced adds spikes; Professional is in a cave where up arrow swims up, release to go down—avoid walls.
  • Flying: Collect coins while dodging; purple coins boost speed. Advanced has building passages with arrows; Professional combines warnings and arrows for statues/rocks.
  • Climbing: Hop between walls (left/right arrows) to avoid going off-screen. Advanced uses buildings; Professional adds rising lava—use up/down arrows to adjust speed.
