Papa’s Cheeseria is the eleventh installment in the popular Papa Louie time-management restaurant simulation series developed by Flipline Studios.The game is set in the town of Toastwood and revolves around running a grilled cheese sandwich shop to fund the recovery of stolen musical instruments for a rock band concert.
Players take on the role of Rudy (a male guitarist), Scarlett (a female vocalist), who are winners of the in-game “Papa’s Next Chefs 2015” contest. The story kicks off with the band’s gear being stolen by a thief named Guy Mortadello, forcing the protagonist to work at Papa Louie’s new Cheeseria to raise money for replacements.
How to play Papa’s Cheeseria
Papa’s Cheeseria is a fast-paced cooking sim where you manage orders across four stations: the Order Station, Build Station, and Grill Station, plus sides (fries) and drinks. The goal is to prepare perfect grilled cheese sandwiches and accompaniments to maximize tips, which you use to upgrade your shop, buy new outfits, or play daily mini-games for bonuses.
Order Station
- Greet customers and note their sandwich type (e.g., sourdough or rye bread), cheese amount/layering, fillings (meats, veggies, sauces), toasting level, and extras like bacon or peppers.
- Also note side preferences (fries style: waffle, curly, etc.) and drink choice.
Build Station
- Drag the specified bread to the plate.
- Add cheeses in layers (e.g., single slice on top/bottom or shredded throughout).
- Layer fillings and toppings per the order.
Grill Station
- Place the sandwich on the griddle.
- Flip when the bottom side is golden (watch the timer bubbles).
- Remove when both sides are toasted to the customer’s preference (light, medium, well-done).
Fry Station
- Select and cut potatoes into the right fry style.
- Fry in oil for the exact time (bubbles indicate doneness).
- Drain, then add toppings like cheese sauce, ketchup, or bacon bits.
Daily Mini-Games
- Monday: Pizza Pachinko – Drop balls to win toppings.
- Tuesday: Slider Escape – Navigate sliders through mazes.
