About Papa’s Pastaria
Papa’s Pastaria is the ninth installment in the popular Papa Louie restaurant time-management game series developed by Flipline Studios. The game transports players to the waterfront town of Portallini, Italy, where they take charge of a bustling pasta restaurant. The story begins with you heading to Portallini for a destination wedding between Little Edoardo and Olga, but with no hotel rooms available, you end up sleeping on the restaurant floor and working as Papa Louie’s unpaid pasta apprentice.
How to play Papa’s Pastaria
Papa’s Pastaria follows the classic time-management format of the series: serve customers quickly and accurately to earn tips, rank up, and unlock upgrades. Each day starts with an order-taking phase and ends with a scoring round based on accuracy, speed, and waiting time. Use mouse clicks or touchscreen taps to interact.
Order Station
- Customers arrive and specify their pasta type (e.g., spaghetti, fettuccine, gnocchi), sauce, toppings, bread, and any holiday specials.
- Write down or memorize their order exactly—mismatches lead to point deductions.
Cook Station
- Boil water in a pot, then add the correct noodle type.
- Stir periodically to prevent sticking, and strain when it reaches the desired doneness
Build Station
- Pour the specified sauce evenly over the pasta.
- Add toppings (e.g., meatballs, cheese, veggies) in the exact quantities and positions requested, distribute them uniformly across the plate for bonus points.
Bread Station
- Select and toast the customer’s chosen bread to the right crispness.
- This completes the dish, serve it with the pasta for a full meal.
