About Papa’s Donuteria
Papa’s Donuteria is the tenth installment in Flipline Studios’ popular Papa Louie series of time-management simulation games. Set in the whimsical town of Powder Point at an amusement park, the game puts you in charge of a bustling donut shop called Papa’s Donuteria.
The story revolves around you (as Tony, Scooter, or a custom character) landing a job at the shop not just for the pay, but for a coveted “line-jump” pass to ride the new Sky Ninja roller coaster first. However, disaster strikes when the coaster breaks down, leaving you stuck running the shop for a year while frying and decorating donuts for demanding park-goers.
How to play
Papa’s Donuteria follows the classic Papa Louie formula: a day-based structure where you serve waves of customers within a time limit, aiming for high scores based on accuracy, speed, and style. Each order typically involves three donuts, each customizable with dough, shape, frying time, toppings, and drizzles.
Use your mouse (or touch controls on mobile) to interact, tap or click to select options, drag to roll dough, and click to flip or pour.
The gameplay is divided into four main stations, plus a lobby for orders.
- Order Station: Take the customer’s order by clicking the speech bubble above their head. Note specifics like donut count (usually 3), dough type (e.g., cake, raised)…
- Dough Station: Select the dough type, roll it out by dragging in a circular motion, then use cutters to stamp out the exact shapes and sizes requested.
- Fry Station: Drop cut dough into hot oil, wait for it to rise (about 12-16 seconds per side), then flip with a precise click when bubbles appear. Remove when golden
- Build Station: Add toppings like creams, icings, drizzles, and sprinkles using scoops, bottles, or shakers.
- Lobby: Drag completed trays to the customer. Collect tips based on wait time, accuracy (90%+ ideal), and combo streaks.
