About Crossy Road
Crossy Road is an addictive arcade game developed by Hipster Whale, first released in 2014. Inspired by the classic game Frogger, it challenges players to navigate a character across a series of roads, rivers, and other obstacles while avoiding hazards like speeding cars, trains, and water. The objective is to travel as far as possible, earning points for each lane crossed, while collecting coins to unlock new characters.
How to play Crossy Road
Controls
- Mobile
- Tap: Move your character one step forward.
- Swipe Left/Right: Move sideways
- Swipe Down: Move backward
- PC: Use the arrow keys or W.A.S.D to move the character up, down, left, right.
Obstacles
- Roads: Cars, trucks, and other vehicles speed by in varying patterns.
- Rivers: Jump onto floating logs or lily pads to cross. Falling into water ends the game.
- Trains: Train tracks have fast-moving trains that pass at intervals.
- Eagles: If you stay still too long, an eagle swoops down and ends your game.
