About Adventure Capitalist
Adventure Capitalist is a idle (incremental) game developed by Hyper Hippo Productions, available on platforms like Steam, iOS, Android, and web browsers. The game simulates the journey of building a business empire, starting from a humble lemonade stand and scaling up to a massive corporate conglomerate, even expanding to the Moon and Mars in later stages. The goal is to generate wealth by purchasing and upgrading businesses, hiring managers, and utilizing Angel Investors to boost profits.
How to play Adventure Capitalist
Start with the lemonade stand
- You begin with a single lemonade stand on Earth. Click the “tap bar” next to the lemonade stand to earn money manually. Each click represents selling a lemonade.
- Use your earnings to buy more lemonade stands to increase your income automatically.
Purchase and upgrade
- As you earn money, unlock and purchase additional businesses like newspaper delivery, car washes, pizza delivery, and oil companies. Each business generates revenue over time.
- Invest in upgrades to boost profits per business. For example, upgrades can reduce the time it takes to earn money or multiply your earnings. Focus on high-return businesses like oil companies early on.
Hire managers
- Managers automate businesses, so you don’t have to click manually. Hire a manager for each business to let it run while you’re away
Earn and use Angel Investors
- Angel Investors are a key mechanic that boosts your profits. You earn them based on your total earnings (lifetime earnings contribute to Angel Investor accumulation).
- Resetting for Angels: Once you’ve earned enough (around 50–300 Angels for your first reset, though 100–107 is a good benchmark), you can reset your progress in exchange for Angels. Resetting restarts your businesses but keeps Angels, which multiply your profits (e.g., a 2% profit boost per Angel).
Upgrades and unlocks
- Reach milestones (e.g., owning 25, 50, or 100 of a business) to unlock multipliers that significantly boost profits for that business.
- Purchase “Angel Upgrades” when prompted, but only after the game stops showing the “double-check” warning, indicating you’re ready to invest in them for maximum profit.
