About Duck Life 6: Space
Duck Life 6, also known as Duck Life: Space, is the sixth main installment in the popular Duck Life series developed by Wix Games. Released on May 25, 2016. The game builds on the series’ core concept of training a customizable duck to become a racing champion, but this time with a space-themed adventure. Players start by creating their duck, choosing its color, eyes, hair, and paint patterns.
The story kicks off with a comic-book style cutscene: After winning a previous championship (following the events of Duck Life 5), your duck’s crown is stolen by an Alien Duck. You must chase the thief across various planets to reclaim it and become the champion of the universe.
How to play
The objective is to train your duck’s skills to win races and tournaments, earning tickets to travel to the next planet. Start on Earth and work your way through the solar system-like worlds.
- Training Skills: Visit trainers (marked NPCs) on each planet to play minigames that level up your skills. Each skill has planet-specific minigames that get progressively harder. Collect coins during training to buy items, and manage energy with seeds (e.g., $15 seeds on Earth). Training is essential because higher skill levels make your duck faster and more capable in races. Aim to max out skills before tournaments.
- Racing and Tournaments: Challenge other ducks scattered around the planet. Beating specific ones (e.g., the helmet-wearing duck on Earth) gives tournament tickets. Head to the rocket or designated spot to enter the tournament—a multi-stage race using all trained skills. Win to unlock travel to the next planet (e.g., via rocket to the Moon).
Shopping and Upgrades: Use coins in shops to buy cosmetic hats (to make your duck look cool) or eggs to hatch additional ducks for your team. On later planets like Mars, shops offer more items.
Progression Through Planets
- Earth: Train running, swimming, flying (max 20). Win tournament to go to Moon.
- Moon: Adds climbing (max 40). Beat robot ducks.
- Mars: Adds jumping (max 60). Features alien themes.
- Terra: Adds intelligence (max 80). Nature-inspired.
- Freez: Icy challenges (max 100).
- Pyro: Lava world; win three races for keys to unlock the final spaceship race against the Alien Duck. Avoid lava and obstacles in the boss race—touching them relocates you, but the Alien has a forcefield.
