Swords And Souls is a free to play online flash game developed by SoulGame Studio, combining role-playing game (RPG) and idle mechanics. Set in the whimsical Soul Town, you play as a customizable soul aspiring to become the greatest fighter in the land. Guided by a sentient scarecrow named Sir Scarow, you train, fight in arena battles, and upgrade your skills and equipment to conquer over 30 arena levels, face 44 unique enemies and bosses, and thrive in Survival mode.
How to play Swords And Souls
Creating your hero
- Start by customizing your character’s appearance (e.g., face, hairstyle, colors) and name to craft a unique warrior.
Training
Training is key to improving your hero’s stats: Strength, Defense, Accuracy, Agility, and Critical. These are enhanced through five distinct mini-games:
- Strength: Click to hit a dummy, timing your clicks for maximum power.
- Block: Use W.A.S.D or arrow keys to block incoming attacks, testing reflexes.
- Accuracy: Aim and click to hit targets, improving precision.
- Dodge: Move with W.A.S.D or arrow keys to avoid projectiles.
- Critical: Time your clicks to land critical hits, boosting damage output.
Arena
- Enter the arena to face waves of enemies in turn-based combat. Your character auto-attacks, but you control special skills (unlocked via leveling, activated with [1-6] keys) and defensive maneuvers (e.g., blocking or parrying with the mouse).
Upgrades and equipment
- Visit the Shop to spend earnings on weapons (melee and ranged), armor, shields, spells, and potions. Equipment boosts stats and combat effectiveness.
You can trade rubies for XP or unlock Turbo mode (at level 70) for faster training.
