About Papa’s Cupcakeria
Papa’s Cupcakeria is the eighth installment in the popular Papa Louie restaurant time-management simulation series developed by Flipline Studios. The game is set in the picturesque town of Frostfield, where players take on the role of a cupcake baker at Papa’s newly opened Cupcakeria. The default workers are James and Willow (winners of Papa’s Next Chefs 2013)
The story kicks off with a chaotic twist: After a car crash involving Roy (from Papa’s Pizzeria) and the player character, Papa Louie steps in to cover the damages. In exchange, you’re “hired” (more like indebted) to run the Cupcakeria solo, turning it into the hottest dessert spot in town.
How to play Papa’s Cupcakeria
Papa’s Cupcakeria is all about multitasking in a fast-paced bakery environment. You’ll manage four main stations: Order Station, Batter Station, Bake Station and Build Station.
Order Station
- Greet arriving customers and note their specifications: cupcake liner color, batter flavor, frosting type, toppings, and build style.
Batter and Bake Station
- Drag the chosen liners into the cupcake tray (two per order usually).
- Pour batter: Click and hold to fill each cup to the marked line without overflowing or underfilling.
- Place the tray in the oven and set the bake time by dragging the meter
Build Station
- This is where precision shines: Apply frosting by clicking and dragging in smooth, even strokes
- Add toppings like sprinkles, candies, or fruits—follow the order’s quantity and placement exactly
- For drizzles or cherries, aim for the specified patterns; a steady hand avoids penalties.
