About Madness Accelerant
Madness Accelerant is a run-and-gun shooter game released in September 2009 on Newgrounds for Madness Day. It was developed by Tom Fulp, with art by MindChamber, in collaboration with Krinkels. The game serves as a playable remake of the animation “Madness Combat 7: Consternation” from the Madness Combat series. You take control of Hank, the protagonist, as he battles through waves of enemies in Nevada while being pursued by the demonic clown Tricky.

How to play
Your main goal is to progress through various stages by defeating enemies and dealing enough damage to key bosses to advance. The game emphasizes accuracy, evasion, and quick reflexes over exploration. Collect hot dogs scattered throughout levels to restore health (each heals 3 HP). At the end, you’ll face a final confrontation with Tricky.
