Stealing the Diamond is the third installment in the popular Henry Stickmin series of interactive adventure games. It follows the events of Escaping the Prison and precedes Infiltrating the Airship. The game is a point-and-click adventure featuring simple stick-figure animation, humorous storytelling, and branching narratives driven by player choices.
In the story, the protagonist Henry Stickmin, a bumbling yet determined thief fresh out of prison spots a news report about the priceless Tunisian Diamond, valued at $112 million, on display in a heavily guarded museum. Broke and facing eviction, Henry decides to pull off the heist of a lifetime. The game satirizes classic heist tropes with over-the-top fails, quirky gadgets, and absurd scenarios, all while building Henry’s reputation as a chaotic criminal mastermind.
How to play Stealing The Diamond
Controls
- Use your mouse (left-click) to interact with objects, select options, and navigate scenes.
- Hover over clickable items (they’ll highlight) to examine or use them.
Gameplay
- The story unfolds through short scenes where you’re presented with 2–4 choices (e.g., “Sneak in,” “Bust the door,” or “Use gadget”).
- Each choice branches the narrative: Smart picks advance the heist; bad ones lead to hilarious fails (like getting crushed by a laser or arrested mid-escape).
- Collect items (e.g., a teleporter or balloon) in your inventory, then select them later to solve puzzles or create new paths.
- Infiltration, stealing the diamond, and escape. The goal is to snag the gem and get away without capture. Replayability comes from exploring all ~27 bios (character/item descriptions) and unlocking medals/achievements for specific fails or endings.
