About Chicken Scream Race
Chicken Scream Race is a fun, voice-controlled platformer game where players guide a chicken through obstacle-filled levels using their voice or alternative controls. It’s a chaotic and hilarious experience, often leading to laughter as you modulate your sounds to navigate platforms, avoid pitfalls, and race to the finish.
How to play
Game Modes
- Adventure: Progress through 15 increasingly difficult levels filled with traps and obstacles. Focus on precise navigation.
- Race: Compete head-to-head against other chickens (or a friend in two-player) on 15 tricky obstacle courses. Be the first to the finish line.
- Endless: No end in sight, survive as long as possible, chasing high scores while avoiding endless hazards
Controls
The game primarily uses voice input but has alternatives for quiet play. To start, enable microphone access when prompted.
Voice Mode
- Soft sounds (like whispering or clucking quietly): Makes the chicken walk or hop small distances.
- Loud sounds (screaming or yelling): Triggers jumps or sprints—the louder and longer, the higher/farther the chicken goes.
- In two-player, players alternate or compete with their voices.
Tap/Keyboard Mode (for voice-free play)
- Hold and release the Space bar, W key, or down arrow (Player 1) / Up arrow (Player 2) to charge and perform jumps. Longer hold = bigger jump.
- On touchscreen: Hold and release the on-screen arrow button in the bottom right.
- Switch modes via the buttons in the main menu’s bottom right.
