About 4 Colors
4 Colors is a card game designed for 2–4 players. The game uses a deck of cards with four colors (typically red, blue, green, and yellow) and numbers, along with special action cards that add strategic twists. The objective is to get rid of all your cards by playing them onto a central pile, matching either the color or number of the top card. Special cards like Skip, Reverse, and Wild add excitement and unpredictability.
How to play 4 Colors
Components
A deck of 108 cards (standard Uno deck or similar):
- Number cards: 0–9 in four colors (red, blue, green, yellow). There are two copies of each number 1–9 per color, and one 0 per color.
- Action cards (per color):
- Skip: Skips the next player’s turn.
- Reverse: Reverses the direction of play.
- Draw Two (+2): Forces the next player to draw two cards and skip their turn.
- Wild cards:
- Wild: Can be played on any card and allows the player to choose the next color.
- Wild Draw Four (+4): Allows the player to choose the next color and forces the next player to draw four cards and skip their turn.
Gameplay
On a player’s turn, they must play one card from their hand onto the discard pile that matches either:
- The color of the top card.
- The number or symbol of the top card.
- A Wild or Wild Draw Four card (which can be played regardless of the top card).
If a player cannot play a card, they must draw one card from the draw pile. They can play the drawn card if it’s valid; otherwise, their turn ends. When a player has only one card left, you must click the “Uno” button. If they don’t, you must draw two cards as a penalty.
