About Duck Life 2
Duck Life 2: World Champion is the second installment in the Duck Life series, launched on July 13th, 2010. It’s a browser-based simulation game where players hatch, train, and race ducks across various courses, focusing on developing skills to become the world champion. The story picks up right after the events of Duck Life, where a new green-eyed duck encounters the previous blue-eyed champion (Doris Dewdrop) and inquires about the crown, sparking the journey to compete globally.
How to play
In Duck Life 2, gameplay revolves around training your duck’s skills, earning coins, and competing in races to progress through levels. You’ll start with basic training and build up to enter tournaments. Coins are earned by collecting them during training sessions and winning races, which can then be used to buy duck feed (seeds) to boost energy or upgrade maximum training levels. Energy is crucial for performing well in races, and feeding your duck increases it.
Controls
- Running: Use the up arrow key to jump over obstacles.
- Flying: Use up and down arrows to ascend and descend.
- Swimming: Up arrow to jump/surface, down to dive, left and right to adjust speed.
- Climbing: Left and right arrows to jump between walls.
Skills and Training
There are four core skills to train: running, flying, swimming, and climbing (a new addition in this game). Each training mini-game involves navigating obstacles while collecting coins to level up the skill. Training multiplies progress gains, and you can upgrade the max level cap (e.g., from 30 to 40) using coins, with costs starting at 30 coins and capping at 50 for higher levels up to 150.
- Running: Jump over rolling obstacles on a track.
- Flying: Maneuver through the air, avoiding barriers and staying above water.
- Swimming: Navigate underwater and surface obstacles in a pool.
- Climbing: Bounce between canyon walls, dodging ledges.
Train sufficiently before racing, as undertrained ducks will lose.
